When sitting down with couples, most don’t even know what a Full Service Planning Package really means. Or what a Full Service Wedding Planner does. So I am here to answer the question, what does a full service wedding planner do? Many Couples think Wedding Management is Full-Service Wedding Planning, but it isn’t! These are two very different types of services. If you’re busy, working long hours, have no idea where to start planning your wedding, know you want a beautiful wedding, don’t want to sacrifice in making your guests feel welcome and unique, and want your wedding to feel like you and your fiance, then a full-service wedding planner is just what you’re looking for.
As a full-service Wedding Planner, I do all of these things and more to make sure your Wedding day is low stress and exactly what you envisioned. I have broken down the top 5 reasons a Full-Service Wedding Planner is worth the investment.
- Wedding Budget Creation
- Venue Selection
- Wedding Vendor Selection
- Wedding Design
- Wedding Day Logistics
Wedding Budget
When hiring a Full-Service Wedding Planner, you have the luxury of getting real-life advice on what a wedding really costs. The most frustrating thing for couples when planning their weddings is the budget. It’s no fun to talk about, but having a full-service planner to walk you through your wedding budget and creating a custom budget for your needs and wants takes a lot of the wedding budget stress away. I can also help you decided where your money is best spent. Which actually saves you money in the long run!
Wedding Venue Selection
I can’t tell you how many times couples have come to me as Wedding Management Clients, and they have booked the wrong venue for their wedding. Either they have grand ideas, and a wedding venue that doesn’t allow those ideas, or they have picked a site that is too small or too big for their guest size. Sounds silly right? But it happens all the time. A full-service wedding planner takes all of the guessing game out of finding your perfect venue. Before we even go looking for a venue, I sit down with my couples and go through a list of questions that allow me to narrow down the search for the perfect Wedding Venue. If the couple already has a venue in mind, we may just build the vision of the wedding off of that venue. Making sure the Venue they have in mind, and the overall wedding vision match really comes down to your venue selection. Having someone in the industry that knows the ins and outs of wedding venues and can ask all the right questions and negotiate your contracts, so you get the most use out of your wedding venue is invaluable.
Wedding Vendor Selection
When hiring a full-service wedding planner, you are able to use that planner’s expertise in creating your dream Wedding Vendor Team. Wedding vendors are your
- Florist
- Caterer
- Photographer
- Videographer
- Wedding Entertainment
- And everything in between
When planning a full-service wedding, I always make sure I am listening to my clients wants and needs to pick the best vendor team they can possibly have. Knowing what’s important to my couples I can put together and recommend the best vendors to make their dream wedding a reality. I also have an approved list of vendors that I have worked with countless times, and I know that they will give your Wedding Day the time and attention it deserves.
Wedding Design
Having a full-service planner means I completely design your wedding day with you. Your wedding is customized to your vision. Using an extensive questionnaire that really asks everything about you and your fiance, I can come up with a concept that feels you totally. Some of the fun questions I ask are:
What is your idea of a date night? If your answer is fine dining at a steakhouse, then I know culinary is going to be a big part of your wedding day. If you say hanging out at a lounge and listening to live music, I know we are going to need one fantastic band and some sort of lounge moment for your reception. Getting to the core of who the two of you are as a couple helps me to design a wedding that speaks to the two of you as a couple. In my Wedding Design Newsletter, I give great tips on how to not only design your wedding, but also an event that you might be hosting, whether it be at home or an actual venue.
Full-Service Wedding Day Logistics
