DAY 3: RESEARCH VENDORS
Start your Research! You may already have your dream planner in mind (me) LOL or your favorite photographer, now it’s time to start reaching out and get their actual pricing. Start reading their reviews, if you have a friend who used them ask what their experience was. If you have no clue who to book, start your research online. Start with your favorite wedding blogs like Carats & Cake and see if they have a recommended list. Another good way to research is to see if someone you have been looking at is aligned with the vibe of the wedding you want.
From this research create your dream list! This step might seem like it’s getting ahead of the game, but knowing the pricing from vendors that work at venues you are looking at, or work you like, will allow you to create a realistic budget for your wedding day!
3 Steps to Researching Vendors:
- Follow Vendors you like on Instagram. It sounds funny but I will stalk vendors that I like and see if I like their personalities. You can tell a lot from instagram stories.
- Start to find Wedding blogs that you like and see who they are featuring. Most Wedding Vendors will submit their work to blogs they feel most represent them.
- Ask your friends who they recommend if you had fun at a particular wedding! Lot’s of my clients come from past Weddings, they experined my work had a great time and want that same vibe for their wedding.
