If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. Wedding Budget, no one likes this word, NO ONE! But you need a wedding budget, or at least a starting point. I know it can be scary, and the amount of money spent on Weddings can be shocking.  But after you have done your research on Vendors you can now gage what your budget for your Wedding should be. The best way to decide on a wedding budget is to come up with a number that is comfortable for everyone financially contributing to the wedding. These can be hard conversations, and you may not hear what you are hoping to hear, but I can guarantee you, your dream wedding will come about! You may have to edit your guest list or maybe your expectations, but it will happen!

6 Tips to help you figure out your Wedding Budget

  1. Make sure your consult with everyone who is contributing to your wedding when you sit down to create your budget.
  2. Create your Guest List so you know how many people you will need to accommodate for on the Wedding Day
  3. Write down 3 of your top “Must Haves” – Examples: Flowers, Band, Open Bar, then adjust your budget accordingly to what really matters to you as a couple.
  4. Start a Bank Account just for your Wedding Day, so you can stay on top of what is coming in and going out.
  5. Make sure to factor in postage when you are budgeting your wedding invitations (everyone forgets this and it can become expensive depending on weight of the invitations you pick.)
  6. Invest in a Task Management Program so you can keep track of your budget, or use Excel or Google Sheets (Make sure to enter in everything you have spent).

BEHIND THE Wedding

MEET Victoria

Growing up, my mother had a dinner party for just about everything. She would make name cards, put out her best china, let me help her pick flowers, and always cook something spectacular. She taught me, “Presentation is everything.” Long-story-short, the attention to detail, organization and joy that give me my knack for event-planning are in my blood (because truly, I got it from my Mama). My whole life I’ve had a passion for all the elements that make events experiences. Beyond that, I’ve always been told that I throw a really effing fun party, so I decided to leave my career in hospitality and pursue event-planning for real.

What I’m told draws many of my clients to me is my eye for the details, understanding of who they are, and calm attitude even when things get crazy. What keeps me so fulfilled is my relationships with my clients themselves. Nothing makes me happier than working with a couple to make a vision come to life and genuinely having fun all along the way.

Thanks for learning a little bit about me; I look forward to learning a little bit about you!
