Our Favorite Wedding Trends of 2017

January 18, 2017

Wedding Trends for 2017 are turning out to be pretty beautiful! I am so excited to incorporate all of these wedding trends into my client’s weddings this year. I love when we come up with fun and unexpected ways to incorporate the wedding trends into the weddings. So today we are going to talk about our top 3 favorite Weddings Trends and how we plan to incorporate them into our 2017 Weddings!

Wedding Trends of 2017

  1. 1.Pantones Color of the year “Greenery.”—I love green! So this being the color of the year honestly makes my heart sing! There are so many fun ways to incorporate the color into your wedding. I love using live tress in our receptions. It adds an element of classic style and an unexpected touch to any wedding. You can have fun with the planter boxes and match them with any wedding décor from modern to traditional.

  3. 2.Dessert Displays- Out with the candy displays and in with the Dessert Display! I actually attended a wedding that had an actual dessert ROOM! Yes, a whole room dedicated to desserts, my husband is still wondering why I didn’t think of this for our wedding. Wedding Cake of course is still important, but our brides are opting for more of a selection of decadent and fun dessert, like Lady M Crepe cakes, and Donuts. The best part of this is we can get really creative with the set-up and pick out a bunch of fun desserts everyone can try in smaller portions. I am definitely not mad at this wedding trend!

3.Curated Weddings- This wedding trend for 2017 I absolutely adore. My favorite part of the planning process with our couples is the design. And this trend we can really get down and pick out the most perfect pieces for the wedding day that exudes the love and happiness our couples poses for each other.  Our couples really know what they want and having the time to look at all of their options and thinking outside of the box allows us to really curate a wedding day of their dreams!

BEHIND THE Wedding

MEET Victoria

Growing up, my mother had a dinner party for just about everything. She would make name cards, put out her best china, let me help her pick flowers, and always cook something spectacular. She taught me, “Presentation is everything.” Long-story-short, the attention to detail, organization and joy that give me my knack for event-planning are in my blood (because truly, I got it from my Mama). My whole life I’ve had a passion for all the elements that make events experiences. Beyond that, I’ve always been told that I throw a really effing fun party, so I decided to leave my career in hospitality and pursue event-planning for real.

What I’m told draws many of my clients to me is my eye for the details, understanding of who they are, and calm attitude even when things get crazy. What keeps me so fulfilled is my relationships with my clients themselves. Nothing makes me happier than working with a couple to make a vision come to life and genuinely having fun all along the way.

Thanks for learning a little bit about me; I look forward to learning a little bit about you!
