If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. You can also use our fave TinyJpeg to make them small so your blog posts still load quickly!

DAY 7: RESEARCH YOUR HONEYMOON

This might sound crazy to do now, but knowing where you ultimately want to go for your honeymoon is so important to research.  (Not to mention fun!) I always give my clients some fun to-do’s while planning the wedding, and this is at the top of the list. So many places have times of years that are low season or high season and depending on those times you can save or spend a lot of money!

*Insider tip! Festive Season is an actual word in the hotel industry to describe high season in certain areas, especially the Caribbean, Mexico, or anywhere tropical! It describes the time between November and January 1st when most people travel for the holidays. Rates can sometimes be double for these areas this time of year, so make sure you do your research!

If you want to be able to go right to your honeymoon after your wedding, make sure you’ll be able to, don’t wait until the last minute to book your honeym have a plan!  I also highly recommend using a travel agent for your honeymoon. It may sound old school, but they often times get special rates, extras such as spa credit, breakfast included daily, free hotel transfers to and from the airport and much more! They can also help you with connecting you to the right people that will make your honeymoon extra special.  Remember this is not just any vacation, and after your wedding, you will need a Honeymoon!

BEHIND THE Wedding

MEET Victoria

Growing up, my mother had a dinner party for just about everything. She would make name cards, put out her best china, let me help her pick flowers, and always cook something spectacular. She taught me, “Presentation is everything.” Long-story-short, the attention to detail, organization and joy that give me my knack for event-planning are in my blood (because truly, I got it from my Mama). My whole life I’ve had a passion for all the elements that make events experiences. Beyond that, I’ve always been told that I throw a really effing fun party, so I decided to leave my career in hospitality and pursue event-planning for real.

What I’m told draws many of my clients to me is my eye for the details, understanding of who they are, and calm attitude even when things get crazy. What keeps me so fulfilled is my relationships with my clients themselves. Nothing makes me happier than working with a couple to make a vision come to life and genuinely having fun all along the way.

Thanks for learning a little bit about me; I look forward to learning a little bit about you!
